Summer vacation is the most awaited time of the year. Not only the kids but even the adults wait for the vacation eagerly. Summer vacation is the time to cherish every moment with your loved ones and make the bond stronger creating lifetime memories. It is during summer vacation that the kids get extra time to learn new activities that they love coming out of their monotonous life cycle. It's the time to indulge your kids in their creative hobbies like singing, learning cooking or horse riding etc. Making your time worthwhile is the motto of summer vacation with friends, family and your loved ones.
So let your kids enjoy the summer vacation and then to enhance their creative writing skills ask them to write a paragraph on “How they spent the summer vacation”. It is a fun and creative activity that kids enjoy.

Summer vacation is my most favourite vacation and I eagerly wait for it. Every summer vacation me and my family go on a long trip far away from the hustle bustle of daily busy life. We get closer to nature and spend time with each other without any distractions.
The trips in summers are the perfect ones for making lifelong memories with my loved ones. We generally go to meet our grandparents or go on a trip with family and friends. This year we planned for a trip to Shimla hill station along with my grandparents, parents and cousins. We all like my cousins and other family members gathered at our ancestral home where my grandparents live. From there we took a train to Shimla.
The train ride was filled with fun moments. We laughed, sang songs while enjoying the beauty of enchanting landscapes through the window. Together we were elated to extreme happiness. We reached Shimla in the evening. It is a small hill station with beautiful natural scenery and vegetation.
The next morning, we went for a walk and experienced the beauty of nature. Trekking was always my favourite part of the activity. I then ate my breakfast and then we left for sightseeing and outdoor activities. There were a lot of beautiful places and I learnt a lot about the different cultures they follow there. During nights, we used to sit around the bonfire and play games and hear stories from grandparents. The stories motivated us in different ways. For the next three days we visited new places and enjoyed to the fullest. We also went shopping to take some memories away with us from the hills of Shimla. and finally, we bid farewell to the alluring Shimla with lots of memories.
This was one of the best summer vacations I had with my family and cousins. During the summer vacation I also learnt a lot of extra activities which enhance my knowledge and creativity. Additionally, I visited a biscuit factory which was equally interesting and educational. This is how my summer vacation ended full of satisfaction and happiness about having utilized my time to the fullest.
1. My favourite vacation is summer vacation as I enjoy it to the fullest during that time.
2. During the vacations I attend lots of workshops where I learn new activities like painting, dancing etc.
3. I can spend more time with my friends and play with them a lot.
4. I visit my grandparents and different relatives' homes during my free time and have fun with them.
5. My favourite pastime is to listen to motivational stories from my grandfather. He also teaches me gardening in his free time.
6. My grandmother and mom cook my favourite scrumptious dishes which makes me drool.
7. We play many games like carrom, hide-and-seek and ludo.
8. All the cousins have fun playing and doing activities together.
9. We go to a water park and spend a lot of time there playing and enjoying the water activities.
10. Every year I enjoy my summer holidays with my cousins and grandparents.
