10 Fun Ways For Parents to Boost their Kids Vocabulary At Home

Expanding your child’s vocabulary doesn’t have to feel like homework! With a bit of creativity, you can turn learning new words into an enjoying daily adventure. Here are 10 engaging activities to help your kids with learning new words at home.

1. Word of the Day

Introduce new words each day and encourage your child to use them in their daily conversation. Make it fun by writing on sticky notes and try posting them on the fridge. For example “Today’s word is ecstatic. Can you describe the word ecstatic”?

2. Storytelling with a Twist

Take turns creating stories together. Challenge each other to use a few new words or some words that are unusual words in the story. For instance, “Once upon a time, a mischievous snake found a peculiar basket”.
