A mother’s happiness has no limits when we achieve our goals. She can read our silent minds and knows what’s best for us. There’s no wish of ours that she has not fulfilled, whether purchasing things of our choice or convincing dads to give us school trip approvals. In this blog, we are going tell you how your child can perform a mother’s day speech.
WHAT IS MOTHER’S DAY?
Mother’s Day is a celebration for our mothers and motherhood in general. On this day, we honor the influence of mothers in society. It’s celebrated on various days in different parts of the world, most commonly in March or May.
While drafting a speech on mothers, I realised that only on extremely limited occasions do we unfold and reveal our feelings and emotions about our loved ones. In India, we believe in worshipping goddesses, and it is very much alike Mother’s Day.
I personally become even more excited for Mother’s Day as it falls in the month of summer. We all are aware of the importance of this season. i.e. birth, life, growth, and rejuvenation. All these traits are perfectly connected with our mothers as she’s the birth giver and introduced us onto this Earth- she is our guide who cares and comforts us on every step of life.
Why is it so important to commemorate this day?
A mother commits her whole life to her children without any expectation. Intentionally or unintentionally when we choose the wrong path, she holds our hand, shows us the right way, and protects us. The mother-child relationship is so unique that she decodes our needs even before we say anything. Hence, it’s important to celebrate them on an exclusive day.
My mother is my best friend, mentor, and teacher. She cares for us and works hard to make sure that we get the best of everything. My mom is always there when I am sick or have a bad dream, and guides me with my studies and homework. She makes me feel important even when she’s busy with a million work. Yes, she scolds me sometimes, but later politely corrects my mistakes. She teaches me good manners and moral values. She understands everyone’s likes and dislikes. On my birthday, she always bakes my favourite cake, throws an amazing party, and gets me all the exciting toys. She never fails to put a smile on my face. She fulfills all my wishes whether big or small. Every night she entertains me with lovely bedtime stories. She’s surely the most important person in my life forever.
