My Favourite Cartoon

My Favourite Cartoon

Cartoons are a popular means of entertainment as they have funny characters, interesting storylines, and colourful animations that grab a child's attention and imagination. Cartoons can be both educational and comical, but they also provide valuable lessons. Cartoons arouse creativity, motivating kids to dream big and see unique adventures beyond reality's limits.

How Cartoons Affect a Child’s Language and Communication Skills?

Several animated shows have clear speech, which makes them a perfect medium for language learning. The kid's vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structure all improve as they watch the characters. Children are exposed to different grammatical concepts, accents, and viewpoints, which help them improve all forms of communication. Cartoons also give kids a chance to express their thoughts and opinions openly. Children obtain the ability to converse and articulate themselves better for a lifetime.

Let’s look at a speech that your child can use about their favourite cartoon.

DORAEMON

Doraemon is my favourite cartoon show. It’s about a cat robot named Doraemon who comes from the future. He lives with Nobita who’s also his best friend. He loves to eat Dora cake and is scared of mice. Doraemon has a magic pocket that has all the future gadgets in it and he uses them to help Nobita. Doraemon is a great friend as he always protects Nobita whenever he gets in trouble with his classmates. My favourite gadget is the Bamboo-copter, which is a small headgear that can make anyone fly. I also love the Anywhere door which is a pink colour door and we can go wherever we want using this door.

This cartoon gives me scientific knowledge and also teaches me the value of friendship.

TOM AND JERRY

This cartoon show is about a pet cat named Tom and a mouse named Jerry, they both live in the same house. My favorite is Jerry as he’s too cute. This short-animated series shows how Jerry always steals something from the kitchen. Both of them are always fighting and this makes me laugh so much. Sometimes, when they have a common task to complete, they work as a team to win it. No matter how much they fight, they still are best friends and this shows a great deal of friendship.

THE CINDERELLA STORY

Cinderella is the most famous princess in the cartoon world. This cartoon is based on the fable ‘The Little Glass Slipper’. The story is customized into various books, animated series, and movies. Cinderella is typically called a Disney princess.

Cinderella resides with her cruel stepmother and two stepsisters.  She is extremely beautiful with lovely long hair. Her soft and caring nature makes everyone a fan of her. Unfortunately, her family mistreats her. Her stepsisters are envious of her beauty. So, her mother and sisters forcefully make her do all the household chores. She wears tattered clothes, and to ignore the pain of loneliness she makes friends with rats and birds in the house. Her future swings in doubt.

One day the prince of the town invited all the maidens to a ball held in his palace but the evil mother forbade Cinderella from attending the function. She was disheartened. While she was sobbing in a corner suddenly a fairy godmother appeared and bestowed the girl with a carriage, gown, and attractive glass slippers for the ball. Godmother requested Cinderella to return before midnight as the magic would fade away by that time except for the glass slippers. The princess reached the ball and spellbound the guests with her look including the prince. Cinderella danced with the prince all night. As soon as the clock struck 12,  she ran back home and unknowingly dropped one of her slippers in the palace. Later, the prince found the slipper and looked through the town to find the girl whose foot would fit in the glass slipper. Finally, he managed to find Cinderella, and they lived happily ever after.
